In Conversation with Actor, Playwright, Author & Media Specialist, JOT Agyeman

The global 'orange economy' is estimated to be worth USD985 billion by next year and Africa's share of the creative cake is growing rapidly, as technology amplifies and accelerates the audibility and visibility of artists across the spectrum. The continent's youth, the youngest population in the world, with 70% of Sub Saharan Africa under 30, is driving both the content and the consumption of the creative space.

In this honest conversation with one of Ghana’s celebrated authors, actors and playwrights, JOT Agyeman, we had the opportunity to find out more about the man whose work demonstrates a love of, and skill at, intertwining African history and folklore. Clearly rooted in his training at the School of Performing Arts, University of Ghana, JOT's life-long career in numerous film, theatre and media roles, both in front of and behind the camera, positions him as a contemporary creative force in Ghana. Enjoy!
